In this material world we are conditioned by three modes of material nature. But after getting krishna consciousness we gets liberated.
Actually when we comes in contact with material nature then we acquire some material modes and these modes are need to be cleaned. So prescribed duties is important in cleaning that modes. Duties is based on your psychophysical nature. Duty means you have to do your duty. By performing the duty your heart gets purified .
Karmayoga means to give results to Krishna.
